Meet Laura E. Knights, MSW – author of the TEW2 Journal

unnamedLaura E. Knights, “The M-Powerment Coach,” is an author, speaker, and coach that has been developing career and life skills success programs for youth and adults for the last 13 years. Her expertise and background in both business and social work, uniquely equip her to teach others how to deal with both the “head work” and “heart work” required to succeed in any career and in life. Through her work, she helps individuals get MOTIVATED to unlock their passion and purpose and move beyond negative, limiting belief systems; start MOVING to design their authentic action plan; and gain MOMENTUM to create the life they desire.

In her coaching practice, Laura provides individual and group-coaching programs geared towards helping clients develop life and emotional intelligence skills, and progress in the areas of small business and career development. Laura is the Founder of the Dream Builders Mastermind Circle, a coaching and mastermind group for new and emerging women business owners, and a contributing author to The Entrepreneur Within book series. She released The Destined D.I.V.A.™ Lifestyle System (Daughters of Integrity, Virtue, and Anointing), a Christian line of books, lifestyle apparel, and events to empower women and teen girls in 2013. She counts this endeavor as a “purpose project” that allows her to minister and share God’s love to the hearts of women and teen girls all over the world.

Laura has worked with hundreds of people through her M-Powered Workshop Series, training modules, mastermind groups, and popular coaching programs—where she teaches people how to create a life of meaning and purpose that transforms their self-identity, work, and relationships to help them break through to higher levels of happiness and success. She also provides powerful advice, breakthrough techniques, and other resources to her many subscribers via her M-Powered Living! e-newsletter.

Laura’s previous experience includes corporate human resources; developing and managing work development and adult education programs; developing and evaluating teen leadership programs; and working as a therapist to help families overcome various issues. She received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Graduate Certificate in Non-profit Management from Washington University in St. Louis. Laura obtained her Master’s in Social Work from DePaul University.
