#entrepreneur inspiration with Laconna Gowder

Who are you and what do you do in 30 words or less?

I am LaConna Gowder of Glew Consultants. I have 30+ years of accounting experience and I am strategizing a plan for my own company (Glew Consulting). I bond business owners with business solutions that work!

How do you remain empowered as an entrepreneur?

Empowerment is from within. My faith in God and understanding that He is my source, and through Him, I am viable and valuable is my strength. I believe life is continuous training and a series of relationships that give and receive. My passion is helping folks be successful!

How do you remain equipped as an entrepreneur, where/how do you fuel your growth?

Planning and seeking out webinars and training to support my goals. Training includes certifications, motivational messages and conversations with others. I pray for amazing days and then look for it. Amazing happens through interaction with others.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I am inspired by God and His creation, and specifically His love, patience and subtle movement. I embrace that I am here on purpose and love that I am positioned to experience the search required for that purpose. It requires that I not know everything already, but that I am open to the training and insight gained from the experience. The medley of experience creates confidence but also compassion and empathy.

What is your “WHY” —- why do you do what you do?

I have a passion to live a quality life. The freedom to give and receive nets fulfillment.

What is your #1 tip for other entrepreneurs?

Understand your “Why” and “Plan” to achieve that!
